Baked cauliflower with minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 400 g minced meat
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 100 ml cream
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp beef broth, granulated
  • Raclette cheese, mountain cheese or similar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

A low-carb dinner

Divide the cleaned cauliflower into florets and cook until al dente. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Brown the ground beef until crumbly and season with salt and granulated stock. Finely chop the onion and add to the ground beef. Sauté over high heat for 2 minutes. Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar and let it reduce for a few minutes. Stir in the cream and cream cheese. Place the cauliflower florets in a baking dish and cover with the meat sauce. Top with cheese and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is the desired color.
