Baked cheese cubes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g mild sheep’s cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • pepper
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 150 g almond(s), chopped
  • Paprika powder, or spice of your choice
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the feta cheese into bite-sized cubes. Whisk the eggs on a plate and season with pepper. Peel and finely chop the garlic clove. Mix with the eggs. Place the almonds on a plate. Heat the frying oil in a deep saucepan. Dip the feta cheese cubes, one at a time, in the egg and almonds and fry in the hot oil for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain. Serve sprinkled with paprika (or a spice of your choice).
