Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chicken fillet(s) (steaks), frozen, pre-fried or fresh
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 1 pack of light mozzarella
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

SiS, low carb

Thaw the frozen, pre-fried chicken fillet steaks or, alternatively, fry fresh chicken steaks in a little oil and cook until thoroughly cooked. Thinly slice the tomatoes, mushrooms, and mozzarella. Place the steaks in a baking dish, layer them with the tomatoes, then the mushrooms, and finally the mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the desired browning has been achieved. Variations: I also really like it with onion rings and/or zucchini slices and season with Italian herbs.
