Baked chicken fillets with tacos

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g chicken fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 100 g chili sauce (tomato chili sauce)
  • 100g tacos
  • 50 g Gouda, middle-aged

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Wash the meat, pat dry, and cut into thin strips. Heat the oil. Fry the chicken fillet strips for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Trim the spring onions and slice them into thin rings. Wash and finely dice the tomato. Stir it into the tomato-chili sauce along with the spring onions. Place half of the tacos in two small or one large baking dish. Spread the sauce and chicken on top. Arrange the remaining tacos on top. Finely grate the cheese and sprinkle over the tacos. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until the cheese has melted. Serve with a light, bitter beer.
