Baked chocolate bananas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chocolate bar (peanut caramel bar, e.g. Snickers)
  • 4 banana(s), baby
  • some lemon juice
  • 4 scoops of ice cream (vanilla ice cream)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the peanut caramel bar in half lengthwise and crosswise to create 4 pieces. Make deep cuts in the peeled baby bananas lengthwise and press them apart slightly. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the cut bananas with a little lemon juice. Insert the bar pieces and bake the bananas in a preheated oven at 200°C on the middle rack for 10 minutes (convection not recommended). Place on dessert plates and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
