Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1,500 g potatoes, boiled
  • 500 g potatoes, raw
  • 500 g quark
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • Salt
  • Clarified butter, for frying
  • possibly milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple & delicious

Grate the cooked potatoes, mix them with the raw, also grated potatoes, stir in the quark and flour, and season with salt. If the dough is too stiff, add a little milk. Heat the clarified butter in a pan, shape the dough into round dumplings, and fry over moderate heat. The baked dumplings are delicious with sweet dishes such as compote, but also with any meat dish with sauce.
