Baked fruits in pastry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 140 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 liter of water or milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 mango(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Baby Led Weaning (BLW) – Finger food for babies, bananas, mangos and apples

Mix the flour with water, oil, and egg yolk. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Core the apples and cut into 1.5 cm thick slices. Peel and quarter the banana. Peel the mango and slice into strips. Dip the fruit in the batter and fry in the deep fryer. Sprinkle with sugar for the adults.
