Baked Green Asparagus – Asparagi Alla Parmigiana

- 16 Rods Asparagus, green
- 40 g Butter, salted
- 2 Pinches Pepper, black, fresh from the mill
- 60 g Parmesan, freshly grated
- Wash the asparagus, cut 2 cm at the bottom, peel down from the middle. Blanch for 2 minutes in lightly salted water in a large pan with enough water to just cover it. Take out of the water and place in 2 oblong baking tins. Let the butter melt, but don’t let it turn brown. Pour half of the butter over the asparagus. Grate the Parmesan over the asparagus and drizzle the remaining butter over it.
- Bake the asparagus in the oven at 220 degrees top heat or grill and serve immediately as a side dish.
