Baked ham rolls

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g leaf spinach (frozen)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200g mozzarella
  • 30 g butter or margarine
  • 4 slice(s) ham, cooked (large slices)
  • 40 ml meat broth, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thaw the spinach leaves. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Thinly slice the mozzarella. Heat the fat and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the spinach leaves and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook for about 6 minutes. Top the cooked ham with the spinach leaves and half of the mozzarella slices. Roll up the slices, place them in a greased baking dish, and top with the remaining mozzarella slices. Pour in the hot meat broth. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 15 minutes. Serve garnished with parsley.
