Baked ice cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries or other fruit
  • 1 liter vanilla ice cream
  • 6 egg whites
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Great dessert, everyone will be amazed!

Hull, wash, and halve the strawberries and place them in a deep baking dish. Cut the vanilla ice cream into thick slices and place them on top of the strawberries. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and add sugar, if desired. Spread the egg whites over the ice cream, creating a nice wave pattern with the back of a spoon. Bake uncovered in the oven at 190°C for about 12 minutes. Serve immediately.
