Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 small kohlrabi
- ½ liter vegetable broth
- 30 g butter
- 30 g flour
- 250 g sour cream
- 2 egg yolks
- salt and pepper
- 150 g ham, raw
- Sugar
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel the kohlrabi and cut into eighths. Cook in the broth for 15 minutes. Drain and reserve the broth. Make a sauce from the butter, flour, and broth. Mix the sour cream with the egg yolks and fold into the sauce. Season to taste. Place the kohlrabi pieces in a greased, shallow baking dish. Arrange the finely diced ham on top. Pour the sauce over the kohlrabi and bake at 225°C for about 15 minutes.
