Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 600 g leek
- Salt
- 100 g margarine or butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 200 ml milk
- pepper
- 6 slices of cooked ham
- 75 g cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Trim the leeks and cut into approximately 12 cm long pieces. Cook in salted water for 5-8 minutes, then drain and set aside to drain. Reserving the cooking water. Melt the fat in a saucepan. Sauté the flour in it and deglaze with the milk and 200 ml of the vegetable water. Bring to a boil once. Season the béchamel sauce with salt and pepper. Wrap each leek piece with a slice of ham (cut in half if desired) and place in a baking dish. Spread the sauce over the leek and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown. Rice or Ebly goes well with this.
