Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large schnitzels, breaded
  • 150 g pepper(s) (jalapeno), from the jar
  • 5 Pepper, hot
  • 25 g garlic
  • 400 g cheese, grated
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fiery schnitzel topped with cheese, a different kind

Sear the breaded schnitzels in hot fat until golden brown. The schnitzels do not need to be cooked all the way through. Finely chop the jalapenos, chili peppers, and garlic, or pound them in a mortar and pestle until coarsely ground. Place the fried schnitzels in small, oven-safe pans (one for each person). If desired, the schnitzels can also be cut up and layered staggered. Spread the spicy mixture over the schnitzels. Then sprinkle the grated cheese over the schnitzels so that they are completely covered. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Serve the schnitzels in the pans. French fries, croquettes, and salad are suitable sides to this dish.
