Baked Maultaschen with baked beans and peppers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 Maultaschen
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 large red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 can of baked beans
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • ½ point feta cheese
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • vegetable broth
  • chili powder
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Briefly fry the finely chopped onion in oil. Add the sliced ​​Maultaschen and fry for 5-8 minutes. Meanwhile, dice or strip the bell peppers. Season the Maultaschen with salt and pepper and add to the casserole dish. Sauté the bell peppers in the pan. Once softened, add the baked beans and heat through. Season to taste. Sprinkle the chopped tomato over the Maultaschen, then top with the bean and bell pepper mixture. Slice or dice the mozzarella and feta cheese and scatter over the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for about 25 minutes, until the cheese has melted to your liking.
