Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, half and half
- 6 rolls
- Remoulade
- 2 tsp paprika powder, mild
- 1 tsp curry
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp Fondor
- 200 g cheese, grated Edam or fresh Pecorino
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 large beefsteak tomatoes
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
First, mix the minced meat (you can also use ground pork) with the various spices. Now add the tomato ketchup and mix everything again. Halve the rolls, making 12 halves out of 6 whole rolls, and top each with a generous dollop of remoulade. Spread this evenly and then place the minced meat on the roll. Slice the beef tomatoes and place one slice on top of each of the minced meat. Finally, sprinkle the cheese—any type—on top and bake in the oven at 210 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. A great snack for in between meals—but be careful, as the cheese tends to stick to the roof of your mouth.
