Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 600 g muesli (basic muesli, e.g. from Alnatura)
- 100 g cornflakes, organic
- 50 g nuts, mixed, organic
- 70 g butter
- 100 ml honey
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar, organic
- e.g. cinnamon powder, more vanilla, etc.
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix the muesli, cornflakes, and spices thoroughly in a bowl. Add all the butter and honey to a large casserole or frying pan. Once melted, add the vanilla sugar. It should caramelize slightly. As soon as the butter and honey mixture foams, add the dry ingredients from the bowl and mix everything evenly to ensure everything is evenly distributed. Place the pan in the preheated oven, stirring well every 5 minutes. Remove the muesli after about 20 minutes, or when it is golden brown, and let it cool completely. Transfer to airtight containers. Tips: You can make the muesli exactly how you like it—there are no limits to your imagination. Be careful with raisins! They tend to become bitter if you add them too early or overbake.
