Baked mushroom bread

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 12 small slices of white bread, e.g. caviar stick
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 Pepper, pickled, hot
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 shot of balsamic vinegar
  • 300 g Gouda, grated
  • 100 g hard cheese (Grana Padano), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Finely chop the onion and sauté in olive oil. Add the cleaned and finely chopped mushrooms to the pan and fry. Then add the chopped garlic and finely chopped chili peppers. Season everything with salt, pepper, and paprika and deglaze with a dash of balsamic vinegar. Finally, fold in the finely chopped parsley and spread everything on the bread. Mix both cheeses and spread over the mushroom bread. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 10-15 minutes.
