Baked polenta slices

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 200 g corn semolina
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • some pepper
  • garlic powder
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Bring the milk, semolina, and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes to allow it to swell. Season with pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg. Then let it cool. Using a press, form the dough into equal-sized pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the polenta slices on the middle rack for about 20 minutes.
