Baked pork fillet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg pork fillet(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 150 g sweet cream
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 250 g processed cheese with herbs
  • some crème fraîche
  • n. B. herbs (e.g. parsley, chives, rosemary, thyme)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour

Cut the pork fillet into thick slices (approx. 5 cm). Season with salt, pepper, and paprika and sear in a pan for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Fry the onion until translucent and prepare the sauce with sweet cream, sour cream, herb-flavored cheese, a little crème fraîche, and the herbs. Place the meat and sauce in a casserole dish and refrigerate for 24 hours. After the resting time, bake for 30 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack. Serve with spaetzle and mixed salad.
