baked potatoes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg triplets
  • 8 tbsp sunflower oil or rapeseed oil
  • lots of fried potato seasoning
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly paprika powder, smoked

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 230°C (top/bottom heat or fan/convection oven). Wash and drain the potatoes. Halve or quarter the potatoes depending on their size. Be careful not to overcook them, or they won’t get the creamy texture. In a large bowl, mix the potatoes, oil, and seasonings well. Be careful with the paprika, or the smoky flavor will overpower everything else. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake on the middle rack until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Then bake the potatoes on the highest rack at maximum temperature and on the grill setting until some of the edges are very lightly blackened.
