Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potato(s), waxy
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 piece(s) ginger root
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 125 ml water
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into large chunks. Season with salt. Heat the oil and fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Peel the onions and chop them into coarse strips. Peel the ginger root and chop it very finely. Add both to the potatoes along with the garlic and curry powder. Add water, cover, and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Season to taste and enjoy, sprinkled with sesame seeds.
