Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g ribs or pork belly
- 1 kg potatoes
- 500 g pear(s), small
- butter
- Salt
- Caraway seeds
- Meat broth

Pre-cook the meat, and once it’s tender, slice it. Place the meat slices on the bottom of a pan or deep casserole dish. Wash the pears and remove the blossom and stems; otherwise, leave them whole. Layer the pears. Place sliced raw potatoes on top and season generously with caraway seeds and salt, if desired. Then pour in the meat broth until it’s completely covered and bake in the oven for 60 minutes at medium heat (200°-220°C). Halfway through cooking, dot the top potatoes with butter to brown them.
