Inge's mushrooms Greek style

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes, ripe
  • 500 g mushrooms (small)
  • 100 g onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and dice the tomatoes, rinse the mushrooms and wipe them with a paper towel. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a deep pan, sauté the garlic and onion, then add the mushrooms, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper and cook until tender. Wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings. Remove the mushrooms from the heat and sprinkle with the spring onions. Serve lukewarm or cold as a starter with bread.
