Baked zucchini pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 zucchini
  • 5 slices of pineapple
  • 500 g cheese, grated
  • 500 g sausage (cold cuts)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • possibly beef broth
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly stock (stock cubes) as required

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, peel and dice the onion. Sauté it in olive oil with the crushed garlic. Cut the sausage into strips and add it. Slice the zucchini and add it to the pan. Sauté over low heat for about 5-10 minutes (add a little beef broth for flavor if desired—but the zucchini loses enough water anyway). Season to taste with salt and pepper (stock cubes also taste great, but that’s a matter of taste). Then pour the whole thing into a baking dish, place the pineapple slices on top, and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 to 15 minutes (until the cheese is nicely browned). This is a homemade recipe, but it tastes excellent!
