Ingredients
- 100 g Dark chocolate
- 80 g Butter
- 180 g Flour
- 15 g Cocoa powder
- 0,5 tsp Christmas spice mix
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 180 g Brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Break the chocolate into pieces and melt them together with the butter over a hot water bath. When everything is melted, stir and let cool.
- Mix the flour, cocoa, spice mixture, baking powder and sugar together. Add eggs and chocolate-butter mixture and mix everything into a dough. (This one is soft, that's normal.)
- Now put the dough in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Put powdered sugar (75-100g) on a deep plate or shallow bowl.
- Remove pieces from the dough with a teaspoon, dip them lightly in powdered sugar and then shape them into balls (approx. 3-3.5 cm in diameter). Then roll again completely in powdered sugar.
- Spread these balls with enough space between 2 baking sheets lined with baking paper.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for approx. 10-12 minutes one after the other. Don't be surprised, the cookies are still soft then, they become firmer as they cool down; if you bake them too long, they get hard.
