Baking: Eggnog Cake with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients
 

The cake

  • 125 g Flour
  • 125 g Food starch
  • 250 g Powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla sugar, homemade *
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 5 Free range eggs
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 250 ml Sunflower oil
  • 250 ml Advocaat
  • 100 g Chocolate chips, dark

the cast

  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 100 g Advocaat

Instructions
 

  • Work all ingredients one after the other into a fairly liquid dough.
  • Grease and crumble a rectangular springform pan (or similar) and fill in the batter. d Spread the chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 35 minutes.
  • For the icing, mix the powdered sugar with the egg liqueur and spread on the hot cake.
  • * Divide used, empty vanilla pods and place in a glass with sugar.
