Baking: Hemp Sponge Cake

  • 150 g Margarine
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 50 g Food starch
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 5 tbsp Yogurt
  • 50 g Peeled hemp seeds
  1. Beat the margarine and sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until frothy. Add eggs and beat in.
  2. Mix the flour, starch and baking powder and stir in together with the yoghurt, stir thoroughly. Finally stir in the hemp.
  3. Put the dough in a greased small box cake tin and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 40-50 minutes. (Chopstick sample)
  4. Let the cake cool a little in the tin (tip: turn the tin around), then remove it and let it cool down completely.
