Marzipan Muffins
The perfect marzipan muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Marzipan raw mass
- 280 g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 120 g Sugar
- 2 piece Eggs
- 200 ml Milk
- 6 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 5 drops Bitter almond flavor
- 12 piece Almonds
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place 12 paper cases in the muffin tray.
- Divide the marzipan mixture into 12 parts and roll into 12 balls. Then press them flat. Slice should be roughly the size of a muffin pan.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Mix in sugar.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl. Stir in the milk, oil and bitter almond flavor.
- Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour the liquid ingredients into it. Mix everything briefly. Don’t stir too long.
- Pour half of the batter into the muffin cups. Place a slice of marzipan on each of the dough. Pour the rest of the batter onto the marzipan slices. An almond for decoration on every muffin.
