Marzipan Muffins

The perfect marzipan muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 280 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 6 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 5 drops Bitter almond flavor
  • 12 piece Almonds
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place 12 paper cases in the muffin tray.
  2. Divide the marzipan mixture into 12 parts and roll into 12 balls. Then press them flat. Slice should be roughly the size of a muffin pan.
  3. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Mix in sugar.
  4. Whisk eggs in a bowl. Stir in the milk, oil and bitter almond flavor.
  5. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour the liquid ingredients into it. Mix everything briefly. Don’t stir too long.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the muffin cups. Place a slice of marzipan on each of the dough. Pour the rest of the batter onto the marzipan slices. An almond for decoration on every muffin.
  7. approx. Bake until golden brown for 20 minutes. Let cool down a little and serve warm or let cool down.
