Baking: Strawberry and Cream Slices
The perfect baking: strawberry and cream slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
* for the dough
- 6 Eggs
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 150 g Flour
- 90 g Melted butter
* for the filling
- 300 g Fresh strawberries
- 3 leaf Gelatin
- 200 g Cream
- 1 tsp Stevia 1: 4
- 0,25 Grated tonka beans

- Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks with sugar until frothy. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff.
- Put the flour and cooled but still liquid butter on the egg yolk mixture and stir in a little. Then stir in approx. 1/3 of the egg whites. Finally, carefully stir in the remaining egg whites.
- Now spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (or made of silicone) (approx. 38x30cm) and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for approx. 10-12 minutes.

- Soak the gelatine in water according to the instructions on the package.
- Wash the strawberries, remove the green parts, puree about 100g, cut the rest into small pieces.
- Heat the strawberry puree and dissolve the squeezed gelatine in it. Stir in stevia and tonka bean. To let it cool down.
- Whip the cream until stiff and stir into the strawberry puree. Put something into the fridge.
- When the strawberry cream starts to firm, stir in chopped strawberries.
* Fertigstellung
- Cut the dough sheet in the middle. Spread the strawberry cream on one plate and place the second plate on top. Chill again.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
