Preserving: Strawberry and Apricot Jam

Ingredients
 

  • 1 kg Fresh strawberries
  • 500 g Apricots fresh
  • 1 packet Preserving sugar 3: 1
  • 1 pinch Ground pepper white

Instructions
 

  • Wash 1,500g strawberries and apricots and cut into small pieces (remove green parts and seeds).
  • Put both in a large saucepan, add the preserving sugar and stir everything together.
  • Let the whole thing stand overnight.
  • The next day, wash the remaining strawberries, remove the green parts and puree. On the other hand, add fruit to the pot. Add pepper.
  • Now bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Fill into twist-off glasses, close them tightly and turn them upside down for a moment.
