Preserving: Strawberry and Apricot Jam

The perfect preserving: strawberry and apricot jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Fresh strawberries
  • 500 g Apricots fresh
  • 1 packet Preserving sugar 3: 1
  • 1 pinch Ground pepper white
  1. Wash 1,500g strawberries and apricots and cut into small pieces (remove green parts and seeds).
  2. Put both in a large saucepan, add the preserving sugar and stir everything together.
  3. Let the whole thing stand overnight.
  4. The next day, wash the remaining strawberries, remove the green parts and puree. On the other hand, add fruit to the pot. Add pepper.
  5. Now bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Fill into twist-off glasses, close them tightly and turn them upside down for a moment.
