Baking: Treacle Tart with Spelled Base
The perfect baking: treacle tart with spelled base recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
* for the dough
- 140 g Spelled flour type 1050
- 75 g Raw cane sugar
- 1 tsp Tonka vanilla sugar … RZ in my KB
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 g Butter
- 1 Egg
* for covering
- 1 Can Mandarins
- 500 g Quark lean
- 50 g Yogurt 10% fat
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 packet Custard powder cream flavor
- 3 Eggs
- 100 ml Sunflower oil
- 250 ml Milk
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- For the dough, knead all the appropriate ingredients together. Then wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Drain the tangerines. Separate eggs.
- Mix the quark, yoghurt, 150g sugar, pudding powder, egg yolk, oil, milk and lemon juice together.
- Place about 2/3 of the batter on the bottom of the greased springform pan. Shape the rest of the dough into a roll and press one edge (approx. 2/3 the height of the pan) onto it.
- Add quark mixture. Spread the mandarins on the mixture and press in.
- Put the pan on the second shelf in the oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake for about 50-60 minutes.
- Shortly before the end of the baking time, beat the egg whites together with the sugar to a very stiff egg whites.
- Take the cake out of the oven. Spread the egg whites on top, forming bumps / points with the back of a spoon.
- Put the cake back in the oven, but on the middle shelf. Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the egg whites have turned color.
- Then take it out and let it cool down in the tin. Then carefully loosen the edge and take it out of the mold, let it cool completely in the refrigerator.
