Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Not too sweet, tastes best fresh. Makes 12 pieces
For the dough, mix 275g of flour with the baking powder. Add 150g of banana curd and honey and knead well. For the filling, mash the peeled bananas. Stir in the remaining 50g of curd and the melted white chocolate. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling on top. Roll up the dough sheet and cut out 10-12 snails (you can also fill rectangular or triangular banana parcels if you don’t want to roll them). Place the snails on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. For the crumble, crumble 80g of flour with almonds or desiccated coconut, sugar, and butter into crumbles and spread them on the snails. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for about 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar or decorate with melted chocolate. You can also omit the crumble and just sprinkle chocolate on the snails.
