Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 bananas
- 200 g spelt flour
- 2 tbsp egg substitute
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g applesauce
- 50 g nuts

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Vegan and super easy
Mash 3 bananas and knead them with all the other ingredients to form a dough. Pour the dough into a loaf pan lined with a backpacker’s tin and place the fourth banana, sliced lengthwise, on top. Sprinkle with some nuts for decoration, if desired. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 45-50 minutes. Do not slice the banana bread until it has cooled slightly, otherwise it will tear.
