Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 200 g spelt flour
  • 2 tbsp egg substitute
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g applesauce
  • 50 g nuts

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Vegan and super easy

Mash 3 bananas and knead them with all the other ingredients to form a dough. Pour the dough into a loaf pan lined with a backpacker’s tin and place the fourth banana, sliced ​​lengthwise, on top. Sprinkle with some nuts for decoration, if desired. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 45-50 minutes. Do not slice the banana bread until it has cooled slightly, otherwise it will tear.
