Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag(s) of pudding powder (vanilla)
  • 4 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 200 g flour
  • 3 bananas, very ripe
  • e.g. couverture, dark (chocolate icing)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Ideal for using up overripe bananas – without nuts

Cream the butter with sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar until fluffy, then gradually add the beaten eggs. Combine the pudding mix, baking powder, and flour and fold in. Finally, mix in the fork-mashed bananas. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan lined with baking paper. Bake for approximately 60 minutes at 175°C. Allow to cool slightly before turning out. This cake tastes especially good with chocolate icing.
