Banana chocolate chia pudding

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 bananas, ripe
  • 60 g chia seeds
  • 500 ml almond milk (almond drink) or soy milk
  • 3 tsp maple syrup or runny honey
  • 3 tbsp low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate (fine dark chocolate), grated
  • 3 tbsp banana chips

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 10 minutes

Puree one of the two bananas. Add the chia seeds and mix with the almond milk, maple syrup, and quark. Pour half of this mixture into a second bowl and stir in the cocoa. Cover both bowls and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. Then layer both mixtures alternately in glasses. Slice the second banana and arrange a few banana slices between the layers. Top with banana chips and dark chocolate. Vegan version: Replace the quark with plant-based chocolate protein powder and the dark chocolate with cocoa nibs.
