Banana syrup without sugar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 bananas, very ripe
  • Water
  • 2 lemons, juice
  • 100 ml thick juice (agave or pear), or maple syrup or honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and chop the bananas and place them in a tall saucepan. Add enough water to just cover the fruit. Add the lemon juice, puree everything, and place on the stove. Set the stove on high until it boils. Now add the additional sweetener. Mix well and continue cooking. Reduce the heat by half and simmer for at least 20 minutes. Once the liquid has reduced significantly, you can fill it into twist-off bottles. This also works with other fruits. Since these are pureed, they do not need to be passed through cheesecloth or similar. Please pit cherries and similar products beforehand.
