Banana waffles for the whole family

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 bananas
  • 50 g butter
  • 4 tbsp raw cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 50 g almond(s), grated
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tbsp natural yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 50 ml soda water
  • Oil or margarine for greasing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Baby Led Weaning (BLW) finger food for babies

Soften the butter, e.g. on a radiator, and mix it with half of the vanilla sugar until smooth. Stir in the eggs. Mix the flour, nuts and baking powder and stir into the batter along with the yogurt and soda water. Peel the bananas and mash them together with the lemon juice. Mix them into the batter. Preheat the waffle iron and grease with margarine or oil. Bake 1-2 baby waffles. Then stir the remaining vanilla sugar and sugar into the batter and bake the remaining waffles. Serve with soft pears, apple compote or puree. Season with a little cinnamon if desired. Adults can sprinkle the waffles with icing sugar.
