Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 6 bananas
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- butter
- 3 eggs
- 5 dl milk
- 3 tsp cornstarch
- 4 tsp sugar
- Lemon(s) – zest, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Layer the sliced bananas in a greased ovenproof dish and sprinkle each layer with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Drizzle with lemon juice and place knobs of butter on top. Whisk the egg yolks, milk, and cornstarch and pour over the bananas. Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding the sugar (2) and lemon zest. Fold in and pour over the banana layers. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
