Ingredients for 8 servings:
- ½ liter tomato(s), pureed
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp, leveled chili powder
- 8 tbsp brown cane sugar
- 8 tbsp vinegar
- 8 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Tabasco
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp mustard
- ½ tsp sea salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté the onions until translucent. Add the garlic just before the onions are translucent. Then add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Simmer on low heat for at least 30 minutes. The longer it simmers, the more delicious the sauce becomes. Tip: Use homemade smoked sea salt.
