Easter bakery – for about 20 pieces

Melt the honey with the sugar, salt, and water. Then pour it into a mixing bowl. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon. Knead the candied orange peel, candied lemon peel, mango pieces, and almonds into the honey mixture along with the flour mixture. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Lightly dust the dough with flour and roll it out on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the hot oven on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with the kirsch. Immediately after baking, remove the dough from the baking sheet and cut into approximately 20 squares. Spread the glaze over the dough and arrange the decorations on top. Allow everything to dry thoroughly. This makes enough for 20 squares.
