  • Oil, cold pressed
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Rinse the preserving bottles with hot water and dry thoroughly. Add basil to the bottles, if desired (whole leaves are especially attractive), and fill with oil. The leaves should always be covered. You can add more oil as you go, but the flavor will become less intense. You can also add garlic cloves, peppercorns, and other ingredients to your liking.
