Bavarian currywurst duo with wheat beer curry ketchup sauce

Ingredients for 14 servings:

  • 400 ml cola
  • 200 ml ketchup, hot, e.g. from Hela
  • 200 ml ketchup, delicate, for example from Hela
  • 200 ml ketchup, fruity, e.g. from Hela
  • 250 ml wheat beer
  • ½ tsp curry paste, red or green
  • 3 tsp curry powder
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 7 sausages (Regensburger) 120 g each
  • 7 sausages (swollen or wool sausage) 100 g each
  • 2.8 kg French fries

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Reduce the cola by about 2/3. Add the ketchup, curry paste, and curry powder. Bring to a boil and stir in the cream cheese. Add the wheat beer and season with a little salt. Slice one Regensburger sausage and one Geschwollne sausage and fry in a pan. Prepare the fries according to the package instructions, then sprinkle with salt or fries seasoning. For each serving, combine everything on a plate and pour about 80 ml of sauce over the sausage and sprinkle with curry powder.
