Bavarian Style Potato Salad
The perfect bavarian style potato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Jacket potatoes
- 150 ml Instant broth
- 2 piece Chopped onions
- 3 tbsp Finely chopped parsley
- 50 ml Vinegar
- 3 tbsp Oil
Preparation:
- Boil the potatoes and let them cool down. You must be completely cold !!
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into evenly beautiful slices.
- Peel the onions and cut them into very fine cubes.
- Chop the parsley.
- Mix the broth with hot water.
Preparation:
- 1. Place the potato slices and diced onion in a bowl.
- 2. Mix the broth with the vinegar, adding that about 1 cm of the bottom is still covered in the bowl, as the potatoes absorb the liquid.
- 3. Add the parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper, and put in a cool place for about 30 minutes.
- IMPORTANT: Stir well again and again so that the potatoes pull evenly.
- 4. Add the oil shortly before serving, otherwise the potatoes will not be able to absorb any liquid as the oil has a sealing effect.
