Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 white sausages
- 2 onions, red
- 5 tbsp water
- 1 tsp, heaped stock powder, granulated
- 8 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 8 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp mustard, sweet
- 2 boxes of cress
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Let the white sausages simmer in almost simmering water for about 10 minutes, but do not boil. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings. Make a salad dressing with hot water, bouillon powder (I always use a little at first and add seasoning, as bouillon powder can vary in concentration), vinegar, oil, and mustard. Season with pepper, adding salt only if necessary; the sausages are well salted. Skin the white sausages, slice them, and divide them among 4 plates. Sprinkle the onions on top. Drizzle with the salad dressing and garnish with cress.
