It’s hard to imagine a kitchen without bay leaves. However, few people know that it is also indispensable when it comes to hair beauty and health. Bay leaf has a rich supply of a number of useful trace elements such as vitamins B2, B6, B9, C, and A, zinc, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, manganese, and copper.

In the form of essential oil, powdered or simply dried, bay leaf has a beneficial effect on hair density, can have a tonic and soothing effect (when it comes to an itchy scalp), improves blood circulation, and saturates hair follicles with useful substances.

However, do not forget that bay leaves are not recommended for cosmetic and/or gastronomic purposes for pregnant women and people with cardiovascular problems. Do not leave products containing laurel on your hair for more than 60 minutes. Before use, it is recommended to conduct an allergy test on an exposed area of the skin.
