Bean Cream Soup
The perfect bean cream soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
You also need:
- 2 tbsp Ground turmeric spice
- 1 tbsp Freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp Caraway seeds
- 0,5 tsp Cumin seeds
- 0,5 tsp Water or milk
- 1 dl Whipped cream
- 4 Pc. Peppermint fresh just the tip

- Boil the bean stew with the beans of the cooking water and approx. 5 dl of liquid (I took milk). Simmer for approx. 20 minutes.
- In the meantime, lightly toast all the spices in a frying pan without fat on low heat, be careful if they roast firmly, add the spices to the stew. Puree everything finely after about 20 minutes.
Tip :
- I fished out the green beans at the very beginning and cut them into small cubes. These are taken for the set.
Serving:
- Pour soup into a preheated plate, place 1-2 tablespoons of green beans on top, garnish with a dash of cream and sprigs of peppermint.
- Thought as a main meal, then there was fresh rye bread from the Valais, followed by a plum cake from my wife.
