Bean-garlic puree

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g beans, white dried
  • some salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 300 g potatoes
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • some pepper
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cook the beans in plenty of salted water with the bay leaf for 2 hours. (If using canned beans, drain and reserve 100 ml.) Peel and finely dice the potatoes and cook for 30 minutes. Drain, reserving 100 ml of the cooking water, and mix with the cream, beans, and potatoes. Peel and press the garlic, add it, roughly crush everything, and mix. Season with salt and pepper and keep warm. Perfect with pan-fried dishes.
