Bean stew with Cabanossi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 g Cabanossi
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 2 large carrots
  • 500 g beans, green, fresh
  • 1 liter meat broth
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Nutmeg
  • n. B. savory

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash and trim the vegetables. Dice the onion, slice the Cabanossi, dice the potatoes, and slice the carrots. Prepare the green beans, trimming the tips and ends and pulling out any strings. Heat the oil in a large pot and lightly fry the onion and Cabanossi. Add the potatoes and carrots and top up with the meat broth. Season and add the green beans. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Tip: It tastes wonderfully spicy with good homemade meat broth.
