Beef Fillet with Stuffed Mushrooms and Crispy Hash Browns

Ingredients
 

Beef fillet:

  • 2 Beef fillet slices à 125 g
  • Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Filled mushrooms:

  • 4 Large mushrooms approx. 300 g
  • 100 g Beef meat
  • 0,5 Onion approx. 50 g
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 3 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Crispy hash browns:

  • 4 Crispy hash browns frozen approx. 200 g

For serving / garnishing:

  • 2 Half tomatoes
  • 2 Lemon wedges
  • 1 Spring onion

Instructions
 

Beef fillet:

  • Wash the beef fillet slices, pat dry with kitchen paper, press them flat with the heel of your hand, pepper and salt on both sides and fry in hot oil / butterfat on both sides for about 2 - 3 minutes.

Filled mushrooms and crispy hash browns:

  • Clean / brush the mushrooms, scoop out the stem with a small spoon. Peel the onion and chop finely. Dice the stems as well. Mix the beef mince (100 g) with the onion cubes, mushroom stalk cubes, 1 egg and 3 pinches each of sea salt and colored pepper. Fill the mushrooms with the mixture and bake with the crispy hash browns in the oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes.

Serve:

  • Serve beef fillet with stuffed mushrooms and crispy corners, with tomato halves, lemon wedge and spring onion rings.
