Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g beefsteak(s)
  • 300 ml sesame oil
  • 10 tbsp whiskey
  • 4 tbsp mustard, grainy spicy
  • 5 tbsp mango chutney
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 8 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Herbs (herb mixture “5 herbs”)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 2 days 5 hours 15 minutes

Cut the meat into thin strips. Mix the other ingredients into a marinade, mix with the meat, place everything in a freezer bag, and refrigerate for 48 hours, keeping as little air as possible. Knead the bag occasionally. After the marinating time, dry the meat on paper towels or a tea towel. Spread out on a dehydrator or baking rack (do not overlap) and dehydrate for 4 to 5 hours at approximately 60°C.
